How to remove your connection

This is a step-by-step guide on how to disconnect the electricity connection from your home. This is typically done when a home is being demolished. There is also a Flowchart representation of the process available for download.

Step 1: Complete the application form

Download the Removal of Connection form.

Complete all necessary sections of the application form.  Some of the information on this form may require input from your electrician or builder. See Help for completing Forms A&B for more information.

Step 2: Send the application form to your retailer

Once complete, send the application form to your electricity retailer.

The retailer will contact ETSA Utilities to perform the necessary disconnection.

What happens next?

We will perform the disconnection as requested.

Please note that information shared between ETSA Utilities and your retailer remains confidential.
