Recruitment and selection process

At ETSA Utilities we normally commence our recruitment campaign in July of each year. Advertisements are placed on University job boards and our internet site. We also attend University Careers Fairs and University Work Experience Fairs.

Shortlisting

Once all applications have been received, applications will be shortlisted and candidates selected to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. During this process, we will be evaluating your application based on various criteria. We ask that applicants submit their academic transripts.

Interview

This is the opportunity for you and ETSA Utilities' representatives to meet face-to-face to discuss vacation employment opportunities.

At this brief interview we will discuss your application and what we are both looking for. This is a good opportunity for you to gain an insight into how we carry out graduate recruitment interviews.

Reference checks

Once interviews are completed we may conduct a number of background checks to ensure you are suitable for the role you applied for. We may contact your nominated referees and discuss your application, past experiences and personal attributes with them.

Offer

If you are successful through all aspects of the selection process and we want to offer you vacation employment you will receive an offer of employment. It will detail the conditions and benefits of working at ETSA Utilities.

If you would like to know more about our Engineering Vacation Program please contact Toni Rowland, Employee Relations & Graduate Development Consultant, on 8404 5667.
