Trade: Cert III in Electronics and Communications

Some of the topics covered within the training of this apprenticeship are:

  • Mobile radio - vehicles and base station
  • Microwave radio and multiplexing
  • Powerline carriers
  • Protective signalling
  • Fibre optics
  • Instrumentation
  • Cabling - ACMA Licence

On completion, apprentices will have the required skills and knowledge to work as an Electronics and Communication Tradesperson on our telecommunications and SCADA network.

Electronics Apprentices are based at our Marleston depot.
